The International Advance Study Course: "Ecohydrology & Biotechnology for Sustainable Integrated Water Resources Management in HELP Basins" is organized for the representatives of the HELP Basins, including a team composed of one young scientist and one decision makers/practitioner for each HELP basin.
The 3rd European Regional Workshop of the InterAcademy Pannel (IAP) Water Programme, entitled Towards Engineering Harmony Between Water, Ecosystem and Society will be organized.
Master in Environmental Protection in scope of Ecohydrology will be realised in the cooperation of University of Lodz (UL) and the International Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences - European Regional Centre for Ecohydrology under the auspices of UNESCO (ERCE) in Lodz.

Prof. Zalewski - the Director of the International Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences - European Regional Centre Ecohydrology under the auspices of UNESCO (ERCE UNESCO) and Chairman of Department of Applied Ecology University of Lodz (DAE UL), during the opening lecture of the workshop on Ecohydrology for the sustainable management of ecosystems and water resources, which was organized in the framework of China-Europe Forum, introduced the Ecohydrology concept and its ongoing implementation for IWRM.

The International Advanced Study Course: “Ecohydrology & Ecosystems Biotechnologies in Water Resources Management” is organized for young scientists, PhD students, practitioners and decision makers. The number of participants will be 15-20 people, and 50% of the participants will be women.
